Fungi (2023)
People are familiar with the fruiting body of a fungus. The mushroom. But most people know far less about the intricate network of roots beneath it, called mycelium. While the mushroom catches our eye above ground, the real work of fungi happens out of sight. These hidden processes are essential to all life on Earth.
This exhibition presents one of those unseen wonders. It invites us to look beyond what we think we know and to recognize how deeply fungi shape our world. By showing what fungi do for humanity, we hope to both change their image and inspire a deeper sense of connection and respect.
